This heavenly vacation destination is second-largest of the Hawaiian island. The island is a result of two volcanic mountains that abut one another to form the isthmus between them.
When you are visiting Maui, be sure to experience Aleakala Nation Park. It is a stunning wilderness with breath taking views of the island of Maui and then some. In fact from the summit you can see five of the eight main Hawaiian Islands. You should also consider trying to catch a glimpse of one of the many whales, which shelter in the ‘Au’au channel during the winter months.
